Streaming and NFHS Network
Lockerbook doesn't stream video, but it works alongside the games your school streams.
Add the stream link to a game
- Open the game's setup: tap an upcoming game, or swipe left on it → Edit.
- Under Broadcast, paste the game's link from nfhsnetwork.com (or YouTube or another service).
- The game now shows Watch on NFHS Network before kickoff, in the ••• menu, and in Live View Sharing.
Viewers need their own NFHS Network subscription to watch.
Postseason games
Turn on Postseason / tournament game for playoff and tournament games. Lockerbook will remind you that:
- Regular season: the home school decides who may stream. Check with your athletic director.
- Postseason: your state association usually controls streaming, often only through the NFHS Network. Many associations don't allow teams or fans to live stream video. Check your association's media policy before streaming or sharing a public live link.
Scoreboard overlay (for school broadcast crews)
If your school streams with its own equipment (OBS, vMix, Wirecast, and similar), Lockerbook can provide the on-screen scoreboard: team names, score, period, clock, and the last goal or card by jersey number only.
- Turn it on under Live View Sharing → Broadcast → Scoreboard overlay, or in game setup.
- The preview shows exactly what will appear on screen.
- With Live link for families on too, the Overlay link appears: your broadcast crew adds it as a browser source (1920×1080) so the overlay updates live as you score. See Live View.
