Terms of Use

Lockerbook is provided by Vermonster's Pro Shop. When you download it from the App Store, your use is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA") together with these terms.
Using Lockerbook
- Lockerbook is meant for adults: coaches, staff and other adult scorekeepers. A student who keeps the book for a team should do so with the coach's permission and supervision.
- Use Lockerbook for keeping team statistics and related team purposes.
- Enter only the athlete information a scorebook needs. Don't enter contact information or other sensitive details about athletes.
- You're responsible for having permission from your school, club, or league to record and share team statistics, and for following their rules and any media or streaming policies.
Your content
The teams, rosters, and statistics you enter are yours. They're stored on your device, and we don't receive them. A team a head coach shares with their staff is kept in the head coach's iCloud (see below); we don't receive that either.
Sharing a team with your staff
- The head coach owns a shared team. It's kept in the head coach's iCloud account and shared through Apple, under Apple's iCloud terms.
- Invite only people your school, club or league allows to see the team's roster and statistics, and give each the role that fits. You can change a role or remove someone at any time.
- Everyone on the team can see its roster and games. What each person can change depends on their role; only the head coach can change a game after it's final.
- When someone leaves or is removed, the team comes off their devices; plays they recorded stay in the team's games. When the head coach deletes the team, it comes off every staff device.
Statistics and third-party services
Lockerbook helps you prepare statistics for services such as MaxPreps. You're responsible for checking the statistics before you publish them. Lockerbook isn't affiliated with or endorsed by MaxPreps, NFHS Network, or other services mentioned in the app. Their names are trademarks of their owners.
Plans, subscriptions and free trials (coming soon)
Lockerbook is free during the beta. When paid plans launch:
- In-app subscriptions — Coach ($49.99/year) and Club/Travel ($124.99/year) — are yearly and renew automatically through Apple at the price shown when you subscribe unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current year. Apple charges your Apple Account and handles billing and refunds under its terms.
- Free trial. The Coach plan's 1-month free trial turns into a paid yearly subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. We'll show the price and renewal terms before you start it.
- Cancel anytime in Settings → your name (Apple Account) → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad (or from the link in the app). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Price changes are announced in advance, and Apple asks for your consent where the law requires. The Founding School price stays at $299/year for schools that sign up by October 1, 2027, for as long as they renew.
- School and invoiced club plans are paid by invoice or purchase order for the term shown on the invoice. They don't renew or charge automatically; we'll send a renewal invoice before the term ends.
- When a plan ends, nothing is deleted: your games stay readable and exportable, but new scoring stops until you renew. Schools get a 30-day grace period first.
School and club licenses (coming soon)
A license covers the number of coach seats it lists. Your administrator assigns seats by sharing a link and frees one by removing a coach. When every seat is taken, more can be requested from us. A license key is for the school or club it was issued to and can be claimed only once. When a license ends, the app keeps your games readable and exportable but stops new scoring until it's renewed.
Beta versions
TestFlight builds are pre-release software and may contain bugs. Please keep your own record of important games during the beta.
Disclaimer
Lockerbook is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data or for decisions made using statistics from the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York State, unless the law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date above. Changes that affect a paid plan will be announced before they take effect.
