Lockerbook

Your Schedule

Put your season on Lockerbook ahead of time. On game day, tap the game, set the lineup, and start scoring.

Add games and practices one at a time

Team → Add to Schedule → Add Game or Practice. Choose Game or Practice at the top, then enter the opponent, date and time (or turn on Time to be announced), Home/Away, and the field. You set the lineup on game day.

Games and practices

Every event on your schedule is either a game or a practice. Practices are there for reference, so your team, families and coaches can see when they are. Games are what Lockerbook keeps the book on. Practices show a PRACTICE tag on the schedule, and:

  • A practice doesn't need an opponent. Leave the name blank and it's saved as "Practice", or type a name like "Practice at the turf field".
  • A practice isn't scored. Tapping it opens Edit instead of the lineup.
  • A practice never counts in your record, stats, win chance, season notes, the pre-game preview, the media report or the live link.
  • A practice never lands under Past, not played. Once its day has passed, it simply drops off the schedule.
  • Today's practice doesn't count as "today's game" on your team list.

Want to keep the book on a scrimmage against another team? Add it as a Game.

To change one, swipe left on it → Edit and pick Game or Practice.

Import your whole schedule

Team → Add to Schedule → Import Schedule…

From a calendar link (best — you can refresh it later)

  1. On your school's athletics site or league site, find Subscribe, Add to Calendar, or iCal and copy the link. It usually starts with webcal:// or https://.
  2. Paste it into Lockerbook and tap Load Calendar.
  3. School calendars often include every sport. Use the filter box (it starts with your sport, like "Soccer") to keep only your games. Try "Girls Varsity" if your school lists several teams.
  4. Check the games you want and tap Import.

Events with "practice" in the title (or a short form like "Prac") come in as practices, including ones like "Scrimmage practice". If Lockerbook guessed wrong, swipe left on the event before you import to switch it between Game and Practice, or change it later with Edit.

From a file

  • A calendar file (.ics), or
  • A spreadsheet saved as CSV with columns like:
Date Time Opponent H/A Location
9/18/2026 4:00 PM Rival High A Rival Field
9/22/2026 TBA Hill Academy H

No H/A column? Write the opponent as "vs Hill Academy" (home) or "@ Rival High" (away).

Games that are already on your schedule show Already on your schedule and aren't added twice.

Keep it up to date

If you imported from a link, use Add to Schedule → Refresh from Calendar Link. Games that moved get their new date, time, and field, and new games can be added. Games you've already started are never changed, and a refresh never undoes your choice of game or practice.

The other team's roster

If you track the other team's stats, each upcoming game without their roster shows Add Cedar Falls roster (with the other team's name). Tap it to type their numbers or paste their roster from MaxPreps (see Scoring a Game). Lockerbook can't import it from MaxPreps for you, because MaxPreps has no way for apps to pull rosters directly. A rematch gets the roster from your last meeting automatically.

Edit or delete a scheduled game

Swipe left on the game → Edit or Delete. Delete asks first.

Games that went by without a score

A scheduled game whose date has passed moves to Past, not played, folded away under your upcoming games. Tap one to score it late, or swipe left to enter just the final score (Result), edit it, or delete it. Practices never show up here.

Enter a past result

Missed a game in the app? You can still put it in the book, so your record, win chance, season notes, the pre-game preview on the live link and the media report all count it.

  • For a game on your schedule: swipe left on it under Past, not played → Result.
  • For a game that was never on your schedule: Add to Schedule → Enter a Past Result…

Type the opponent, the date, Home/Away and the final score (in volleyball, the sets each team won). In soccer, lacrosse, ice hockey and field hockey you can also add who scored: your players with their goals and assists, and the other team's players by jersey number (pick from their roster if you added one). Scorers are optional; goals you don't name still count in the score, but your scorers can't add up to more than your final.

The game then shows in Games with "Final entered after the game". Tap it to see the box score, and use Edit Result there to change it (head coach). Because Lockerbook doesn't know when each goal happened, an entered game has no score by period, momentum chart, turning point or game-winning goal, and it isn't used for "when leading at half" or "scored first" notes.

Folding the lists away

A full season is a long list, and it sits above your roster. Tap the Upcoming or Games heading to fold that list; the number beside the heading tells you how many are in there. Folded, Upcoming still shows your next game, so game day is still one tap. Lockerbook remembers how you left it.

Loading a calendar link only downloads that calendar. Lockerbook doesn't send anything about your team.
